DS1014PF-2QSFP28 includes enhanced hardware packet-processing acceleration and Application Device Queues (ADQ) technology. This technology can support NVMe over Fabrics TCP. Optional iWARP and RoCEv2 RDMA support is also available. The adapter supports PCIe v4.0 and is backward compatible with PCIe v3.0 and v2.0. With two 100G ports, the card provides full-duplex data transmission and up to 400 Gb/s of aggregate theoretical throughput over a PCI Express v4.0 x16 bus.

The DS1014PF-2QSFP28 fiber network adapter uses Application Device Queues so each application can request a dedicated queue. This helps separate traffic flows and reduce contention. With interface speeds up to 100 Gb/s, it is suitable for data centers, cloud environments, storage systems, and other high-throughput networking applications. Application queues can reduce latency and increase throughput.

The fiber network adapter provides scalable ADQ technology to improve performance scalability and predictability for critical workloads by dedicating selected resources to them. ADQ uses an optimized application-to-device data path to provide traffic steering, prioritization, and rate-control capabilities for selected applications.

DS1014PF-2QSFP28 uses an Intel controller for high compatibility and performance, supports PCIe v4.0, and is backward compatible with PCIe v3.0.
