CVR-QSFP-SFP10G Adapter / Converter
CVR-QSFP-SFP10G is a QSFP adapter for 1G SFP or 10G SFP+ modules. It provides 10 Gigabit Ethernet and 1 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity on platforms equipped only with 40G QSFP ports. It enables a smooth, cost-effective transition to 40 Gigabit Ethernet by allowing lower-speed 1G SFP or 10G SFP+ modules to be used in available 40G QSFP ports or when the far end of the network operates at a lower speed.
Supported Devices
The QSA module converts a QSFP port into an SFP or SFP+ port. With this adapter, any SFP+ or SFP module or cable can be used to connect to a lower-speed port at the far end of the network. The adapter supports SFP+ optics and cables as well as Gigabit Ethernet SFP modules.
Any 10G SFP+ module can be used: SFP+ Copper, SFP+ Duplex, SFP+ BiDi (WDM), SFP+ CWDM, SFP+ DWDM.
10G DAC and 40G-to-4x10G DAC cables can be used.
