CVR-QSFP28-SFP25G Adapter / Converter
CVR-QSFP28-SFP25G is a QSFP28 adapter for 25G SFP28 modules. It provides 25 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity on platforms equipped only with 100G QSFP28 ports. It enables a smooth, cost-effective transition to 100 Gigabit Ethernet by allowing lower-speed 25G SFP28 modules to be used in available 100G QSFP28 ports or when the far end of the network operates at a lower speed.
Supported Devices
The QSA module converts a QSFP28 port into an SFP28 port. With this adapter, any SFP28 module or cable can be used to connect to a lower-speed port at the far end of the network. The adapter supports SFP28 optics and cables.
Any 25G SFP28 module can be used: SFP28 Duplex, SFP28 BiDi (WDM), SFP28 CWDM, SFP28 DWDM.
25G DAC and 100G-to-4x25G DAC cables can be used.
